The Riverside Farmers’ Market has had vendors over the years that have moved on but they still have a fond place in our hearts.  Have you ever wondered where they are?  We have and we keep tabs on them.  Here are a few favorites.  Part two will be posted next week.

Modest Coffee- The smell of roasting coffee would waft across the Library lawn bringing shoppers down to their tent.  Their coffee is still available in Riverside Foods and online on their website.

Amazing Kale Burger– Although Brandon was only with us for one summer, people still ask for Amazing Kale Burgers.  Shortly after leaving our market, Brandon opened a lunchroom in Evanston but Riverside Foods carries frozen kale burgers closer to home.

Big Fats Hot Sauce-Big Fats had a following at the winter market for their delicious hot sauces. Although they no longer come to our market, you can pick up a bottle at Riverside Foods or order from their website.

Roedger’s Blueberries– Those delicious frozen blueberries are delivered monthly into the west suburban area.  You can order on their website.

Riverside Foods has made it possible for market shoppers to find their favorite products close to home.  In addition to those mentioned above, they carry Jake’s Meat and Wanderlust Soap products.  Buying a farmers’ market vendor product at Riverside Foods is like double credit for shopping local.
